Dog meat markets are prevalent in Asia such as China, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and more. The slaughtering and consumption of dogs are a problem itself but it also links to other issues regarding how the dog meat business gets the meat.
Around 30 Million Dogs are slaughtered for meat consumption every year.
87% of the dogs are stolen pets that will never be able to return to their owners.
